Ingredients
- 1 2/3 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. canned evaporated milk (small can)
- 12 large marshmallows
- 2 c. pecans (whole or broken pieces, not chopped)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Boil sugar and evaporated milk for 5 minutes after or when it comes to a hard boil.
- Add marshmallows.
- Mix well.
- Stir until marshmallows are melted.
- Add pecans and vanilla.
- Remove from fire and beat until it begins to get thick and sugary.
- Drop by spoonful on waxed paper.
- Should make about 24 pieces.
