Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 c. flour
Method
- Beat butter and sugar to a cream.
- Add the well beaten egg, salt and milk and sift in the flour and baking powder together. Dough should be very light, but if too soft, add a little more flour.
- Roll out on a well floured board and cut out with a biscuit cutter.
- Place close together in a shallow pan.
- Bake about 10 minutes at 375°.
