Ingredients

  • 1 (8-serving size) pkg. or 2 (4-serving size) pkg. sugar free cherry flavor gelatin
  • dash of salt
  • 1 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. cold water
  • ice cubes
  • 1 c. diced, peeled or unpeeled apple or pear
  • 2 small bananas, sliced or diced
  • 1/2 c. sliced celery
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Method

  • Completely dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water. Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 2 1/2 cups. Add to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened. If necessary remove any unmelted ice. Fold in fruits and celery. Spoon into individual dishes or a bowl. Chill until set, at least 1 hour. Makes 5 cups or 10 servings.
