Ingredients
- 20 oz. mince meat
- 3/4 lb. raisins (1 box)
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 2 c. flour
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1 Tbsp. boiling water
- 2 egg whites, beaten and added last
Method
- Mix ingredients together and bake at 300° to 325° for 1 hour. Do not overbake.
- Let stand for a while in pan.
- Grease and line pan with wax paper.
