Ingredients

  • 21/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Method

  • Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar.
  • Combine the egg yolks and the milk: mix well and add to the dry ingredients. Add the vegetable oil. Mix well.
