- 1 large clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 c. finely minced onion
- 1 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1/4 c. dark brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1/2 c. vodka
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon-style mustard
- 3 lb. chicken pieces
- 3 lb. beef back ribs
- garlic salt and pepper
Method
- In a medium bowl, combine garlic, onion, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, vodka, Worcestershire sauce and mustard.
- Sprinkle both sides of chicken and ribs with garlic salt and pepper.
- Place on grill.
- Cook 45 minutes to 1 hour or until tender.
- During last 20 minutes of cooking, baste generously with sauce, turning frequently.
- Serves 6 to 8.
