Ingredients
- 1 tsp. gelatin
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- dash of salt
- 1 beaten egg
- 4 tsp. liquid sweetener
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. evaporated skim milk
Method
- Soften gelatin in water.
- Cook milk, flour, salt, egg and sweetener until mixture coats spoon.
- Add softened gelatin and vanilla.
- Whip evaporated milk until thick.
- Fold into custard mixture.
- Chill and freeze in ice cream freezer.
- Yields:
- 1 quart; 16 calories per ounce.
