Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup chopped chives or 1/2 cup scallion
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons anchovy paste (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic powder or 1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 1 teaspoon dried tarragon

Method

  • Blend all ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth.
  • Store in refrigerator in a glass jar with lid.
