Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 lb. spaghetti or linguine
  • 1 large can tomato paste
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • basil
  • garlic powder
  • bay leaves
  • oregano
  • sugar
  • Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Spaghetti Sauce:
  • Chop the red and green peppers and onion into a saucepan.
  • Saute slowly.
  • Add tomato paste, 2 cans of water and tomato sauce.
  • Stir together and simmer for approximately 6 to 10 minutes.
  • Season to taste with basil, garlic powder, oregano and bay leaves.
  • Add a teaspoon of sugar; simmer for 5 minutes.
