Ingredients
- 3 cakes or pkg. yeast
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. warm water
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 7 c. flour or more
Method
- Beat the first 4 ingredients until foamy.
- Add the shortening, salt and flour.
- Knead just enough to mix well.
- Let rise until double in bulk.
- Make into buns.
- Let rise again; bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 400° to 450°.
