Ingredients
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sauteed in butter
- 1 small pkg. noodles, cooked
- 2 c. turkey, cut up
- 1/2 c. turkey or chicken broth
- 1 c. cream or 1/2 c. cream and 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. sherry
- 1 c. toasted slivered almomds
- Parmesan cheese or Cheddar cheese
Method
- Heat soup with broth and slowly add cream, then sherry. Butter a large casserole or glass baking pan.
- Add turkey, noodles and mushrooms. Pour liquid over top, then sprinkle with grated Parmesan or Cheddar cheese.
- Top with toasted almonds.
- Bake in hot oven until bubbly and browned on top.
