Ingredients

  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sauteed in butter
  • 1 small pkg. noodles, cooked
  • 2 c. turkey, cut up
  • 1/2 c. turkey or chicken broth
  • 1 c. cream or 1/2 c. cream and 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. sherry
  • 1 c. toasted slivered almomds
  • Parmesan cheese or Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Heat soup with broth and slowly add cream, then sherry. Butter a large casserole or glass baking pan.
  • Add turkey, noodles and mushrooms. Pour liquid over top, then sprinkle with grated Parmesan or Cheddar cheese.
  • Top with toasted almonds.
  • Bake in hot oven until bubbly and browned on top.
