Ingredients
- 3 tomatoes
- 1/2 c. fine fresh bread crumbs
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp. chopped parsley
Method
- Cut tomatoes in half and press gently to remove seeds and water, season with salt and pepper.
- Mix together remaining ingredients and spread cut sides of tomatoes with this mixture. Sprinkle tops with melted butter or salad oil.
- Arrange on a heatproof serving dish and cook in a hot oven of 450° or under a broiler 10 to 15 minutes or until tomatoes are soft and tops are browned.
