Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 c. ketchup
- 1 head cabbage
- 6 to 8 c. potatoes, diced
- 4 slices cheese
- 1 1/2 c. milk
Method
- Brown hamburger, then season with salt and pepper.
- Mix in ketchup; set aside.
- Shred 1/2 head of raw cabbage into baking dish.
- Add half of raw diced potatoes.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Add all of hamburger mixture.
- Cover with slices of cheese.
- Shred remaining cabbage and sprinkle over cheese.
- Add remaining raw potatoes.
- Pour 1 1/2 cups milk over all.
- Bake at 375° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
