Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 cans smoked oysters
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large or 2 small cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1/2 small onion, pressed
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Method

  • Cream enough mayonnaise into the cream cheese to hold it together.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic and onion and mix well.
  • Spread to 1/2-inch thickness on waxed paper.
  • Chop oysters and spread them on top of cream cheese mixture.
  • Roll as for jelly roll using a knife to start it.
  • Chill for 24 hours.
  • Serve with toast rounds or crackers.
