Ingredients
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 2 cans smoked oysters
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 large or 2 small cloves garlic, pressed
- 1/2 small onion, pressed
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Cream enough mayonnaise into the cream cheese to hold it together.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic and onion and mix well.
- Spread to 1/2-inch thickness on waxed paper.
- Chop oysters and spread them on top of cream cheese mixture.
- Roll as for jelly roll using a knife to start it.
- Chill for 24 hours.
- Serve with toast rounds or crackers.
