Ingredients

  • 18 Piece Chicken Fryer Pack
  • 2 envelopes of Goya Sazon
  • 2 Tablespoons of Goya Adobo
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 3-4 cups flour (white or wheat)
  • Vegatable Oil
  • (1) 2 gallon zip-loc bag

Method

  • Wash and clean the chicken. Place the chicken in a 2 gallon zip loc bag. Add the sazon, adobo and vinegar to the bag. Toss the chicken around in the bag making sure to coat all of the chicken. Seal the bag and let it marinade for atleast 45 minutes. When the chicken is nicely marinated, add the flour to the bag and toss the chicken around again, making sure to coat all of the chicken with the flour. Meanwhile, pour the vegetable oil in a chicken frying pan. Heat the oil until hot. (You can test the oil by dropping some flour into the pan to see if it starts frying immediately.) Add enough chicken to fill the bottom of the pan. Cover tightly and fry the chicken over a medium-high flame for about 6-8 minutes. Turn the chicken over, cover the pan and fry the other side for about 6-8 munites. Remove the lid and cook the chicken uncovered on each side for around 10 minutes over a medium flame. Chicken is done when the juices run clear when poked with a folk. Drain the chicken on paper towels or a paper bag.
