- 1 pkg. corn tortillas
- 1 large fryer or hen, boiled, boned and cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 large bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
- garlic salt to taste
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes, chopped
Method
- Place layers of tortillas, torn and soaked in chicken broth on bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Add, in layers, the green pepper, cheese, chicken and garlic salt.
- Mix soups and pour over layers.
- Add Ro-Tel tomatoes on top.
- Bake at 375° for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Serves 6 to 8.
