Ingredients
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1 or 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. fresh ginger, minced
- 1/2 c. fresh orange juice
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/4 c. sherry or vermouth
- 2 to 3 lb. chicken pieces
Method
- Mix ingredients before adding chicken.
- Toss chicken to coat well and marinate 4 hours in refrigerator, turning several times. Reserve marinade. Broil, bake or barbecue until near done. Replace chicken in marinade for an additional 30 minutes. Finish by cooking each piece more each side.
