Ingredients

  • 2 pound frzn hash brown potatoes
  • 2 (4 ounce.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese or possibly 1 lg. (8 ounce.) pkg.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pt. lowfat sour cream
  • Chives or possibly onions to taste
  • 1 stick butter sliced over top

Method

  • Place hash browns on bottom of casserole or possibly jelly-roll pan, then mix together 1 (4 oz) package cheese or possibly 1/2 of large package, soup or possibly lowfat sour cream, onions or possibly chives.
  • Stir into the hash browns.
  • Chop the stick of butter over top.
  • Bake 1 1/2 hrs at 350 degrees.
