Ingredients
- 1 (2 lb.) beef top round, cut in cubes
- 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 small pineapple, cubed
Method
- Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, lemon juice, oil, ginger and garlic.
- Stir in beef.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours. Stir meat often.
- Thread meat and pineapple alternately on skewers just before broiling or grilling.
- Grill approximately 14 minutes, basting occasionally and turning once.
- Chicken could be substituted.
