Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. oil
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. powdered cloves
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg or allspice
- 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
- 3 c. chopped apples
Method
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- In large bowl, cream together oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
- In separate bowl, have dry ingredients sifted together.
- Add dry ingredients slowly to creamed mixture, blending constantly.
- Stir batter until smooth, then add apples and nuts.
- Continue mixing until apples and nuts are completely blended into batter.
- Pour batter into Bundt cake pan and bake for 50 minutes.
- Cool slightly before icing.
