Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 2 lb. beef cubes
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/3 c. ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • dash of cayenne
  • 1 Tbsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • flour (to thicken)

Method

  • Saute onions until opaque.
  • Add beef and brown.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients except the flour.
  • Cook covered 1 1/2 hours on low heat.
  • When done salt and pepper to taste.
  • Thicken with flour mixed in cold water.
  • Serve over broad noodles.
