- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 2 lb. beef cubes
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/3 c. ketchup
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
- 1 c. water
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- dash of cayenne
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- flour (to thicken)
Method
- Saute onions until opaque.
- Add beef and brown.
- Add the rest of the ingredients except the flour.
- Cook covered 1 1/2 hours on low heat.
- When done salt and pepper to taste.
- Thicken with flour mixed in cold water.
- Serve over broad noodles.
