Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 4 oz. can chopped green chiles
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can hominy (undrained)
- 3 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans (undrained)
- 1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans (undrained)
- 1 1/2 c. water
Method
- Cook the ground beef in a plastic colander placed in a glass bowl on High in your microwave until brown.
- Leaving the beef in the colander, rinse with warm water to remove as much fat as possible.
- In a stew pot, mix the drained beef with all remaining ingredients; ;simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serves 12.
