Ingredients

  • 1 can prepared crumbled bacon
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tsp. butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 1 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1-1/2 tsp. yeast

Method

  • Place all ingredients, except yeast, in bread pan in the order given.
  • Make a little hole in the ingredients and add the yeast in the hole.
  • Press start on your bread machine.
  • Observe the dough as it kneads.
  • If it appears dry add more water, 1 tablespoon at a time until dough is smooth and pliable.
  • Cool on a cake rack before slicing.
