Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. butter, divided
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 large Bosc pears, peeled, chopped
  • 6 flour tortillas (6 inch)
  • 1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 6 Tbsp. thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

Method

  • Heat oven to 375F.
  • Cook 2 Tbsp.
  • butter and 1 Tbsp.
  • sugar in large saucepan on medium heat 1 to 2 min.
  • or until butter is melted and mixture is well blended, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in vanilla and 1/2 tsp.
  • cinnamon.
  • Add pears; mix lightly.
  • Cook 5 to 7 min.
  • or until pears are tender, stirring frequently.
  • Remove from heat; set aside.
  • Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
  • Spoon pear mixture evenly onto bottom half of each of the tortillas; sprinkle with cheese.
  • Fold tortillas in half.
  • Melt remaining butter.
  • Brush half of the butter evenly onto tops of quesadillas; sprinkle evenly with half of the cinnamon mixture.
  • Gently turn quesadillas over; place on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Brush with remaining butter, then sprinkle with remaining cinnamon mixture.
  • Bake 15 min.
  • or until quesadillas are lightly browned and cheese is melted.
  • Serve warm topped with COOL WHIP.
