Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp. butter, divided
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 large Bosc pears, peeled, chopped
- 6 flour tortillas (6 inch)
- 1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 6 Tbsp. thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
Method
- Heat oven to 375F.
- Cook 2 Tbsp.
- butter and 1 Tbsp.
- sugar in large saucepan on medium heat 1 to 2 min.
- or until butter is melted and mixture is well blended, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in vanilla and 1/2 tsp.
- cinnamon.
- Add pears; mix lightly.
- Cook 5 to 7 min.
- or until pears are tender, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat; set aside.
- Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
- Spoon pear mixture evenly onto bottom half of each of the tortillas; sprinkle with cheese.
- Fold tortillas in half.
- Melt remaining butter.
- Brush half of the butter evenly onto tops of quesadillas; sprinkle evenly with half of the cinnamon mixture.
- Gently turn quesadillas over; place on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
- Brush with remaining butter, then sprinkle with remaining cinnamon mixture.
- Bake 15 min.
- or until quesadillas are lightly browned and cheese is melted.
- Serve warm topped with COOL WHIP.
