Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 small can tomato sauce and 1 can water
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. sweet basil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton plain yogurt
  • 1 bunch scallions, chopped
  • 12 oz. cooked noodles
  • 1 small pkg. grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Fry hamburger; drain off fat.
  • Add tomato sauce, water, tomato paste, garlic powder, oregano, sweet basil, salt and sugar; simmer.
  • Mix sour cream, yogurt and scallions with cooked noodles. In a serving dish, layer hamburger mixture, then noodle mixture. Top with cheese.
