Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. vinegar
- 2 c. water
- 1/4 c. salt
- 3 qt. sliced unpeeled cucumbers
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3/4 to 1 c. minced fresh dill
Method
- In a saucepan combine sugar, vinegar, water and salt.
- Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute.
- In a large glass bowl combine cucumbers, onion and dill and pour cooked mixture over.
- Cool, cover and refrigerate at least 3 days before serving.
- Stir occasionally.
