Ingredients

  • 2 lb. fresh mushrooms
  • 3/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 10 strips bacon
  • 1 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • seasoned salt to taste

Method

  • Microwave bacon until crisp.
  • Clean, dry and carefully remove stems (use stems for soups, sauces, etc.).
  • Stuff mushrooms with mixture of ingredients above.
  • Do not heap mixture on mushrooms as it will melt and be lost.
  • Arrange about 12 mushrooms (as uniform in size as possible) in a circle on plate.
  • Microwave on Roast about 2 1/2 minutes or until heated through.
