Ingredients
- 12 apples
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. water
- few drops red food coloring
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- mayonnaise to moisten
Method
- Peel and core apples.
- Make a syrup of the water, sugar, food coloring and cinnamon in saucepan.
- Add apples, 4 at a time, and cook gently, turning over carefully until done.
- Let cool and stuff with a mixture of the remaining ingredients.
