Ingredients
- 1 box Duncan Hines white cake mix
- 1 small box strawberry Jell-O
- 1 c. oil
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen sweetened strawberries
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 lb. powdered sugar
Method
- Mix cake mix, Jell-O, oil, eggs and buttermilk together.
- Set aside.
- Mix strawberries, pecans and coconut; divide in half.
- Add first half to cake batter and mix.
- Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Mix second half of strawberry mixture with margarine and powdered sugar.
- Ice cake after it cools with this.
