Ingredients

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix
  • 1 small box Strawberry Jello
  • 10 oz. box frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 2/3 c. oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 stick soft margarine
  • 1/8 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 box confectioners sugar

Method

  • Beat eggs lightly.
  • Add oil, water, and 3/4 c. strawberries with juice.
  • Add cake mix and dry jello.
  • Mix well.
  • Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan or in layers for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Mix margarine, vanilla, confectioners sugar, and 1/3 c. strawberries with juice.
  • Spread over cooled cake after baking.
