Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
Method
- Add yeast to 1 1/2 cups flour; blend well.
- Combine milk, oil, water, sugar and salt.
- Heat on low heat until warm.
- Add to dry ingredients and beat until smooth.
- Add eggs and beat until blended.
- Gradually add the last 1 cup of flour.
- Spoon into 2 well-greased 1 pound coffee cans.
- Put on plastic lids; let rise in warm place until it reaches top; remove lids.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 375°.
- Cool 20 minutes and remove from cans.
