Ingredients
- 1 heaping Tbsp. lard
- 1 heaping Tbsp. flour
Method
- If the sauerkraut is too sour, it should be rinsed in clean, cold water; drain.
- Place sauerkraut in a kettle to cook.
- Add washed spareribs.
- Cook together, adding hot water.
- When meat is tender, make brown sauce.
- Add a little chopped onion and brown together.
- Pour into the cooking sauerkraut and spareribs.
- Boil a short time together.
- Remove from heat and serve hot with polenta or mashed potatoes.
