Ingredients
- pastry for 10-inch pie shell
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 1/3 c. pecan halves
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Method
- Prepare pastry for 10-inch pie pan.
- Mix butter, eggs, brown sugar, salt and vanilla in a bowl.
- Beat with wire whip until smooth. Blend in corn syrup and pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell with rounded side of pecans upright.
- Bake 40 to 45 minutes in preheated oven at 375° until set and pastry is brown.
