Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Method

  • In small bowl, combine walnuts, cinnamon and 3/4 cup sugar. Grease Bundt pan.
  • In large bowl at medium speed, beat butter with 3/4 cup sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add flour and remaining ingredients and beat at low speed until blended.
  • Increase speed to medium; beat 3 minutes, occasionally scraping bowl.
  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Spread 1/2 of batter in pan.
  • Sprinkle with 1/2 of nut mixture.
  • Spread evenly with remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining nut mixture.
  • Bake 40 to 45 minutes until cake pulls away from side of pan.
  • Cool cake in pan completely on wire rack.
