Ingredients
- 3/4 c. walnuts, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Method
- In small bowl, combine walnuts, cinnamon and 3/4 cup sugar. Grease Bundt pan.
- In large bowl at medium speed, beat butter with 3/4 cup sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add flour and remaining ingredients and beat at low speed until blended.
- Increase speed to medium; beat 3 minutes, occasionally scraping bowl.
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Spread 1/2 of batter in pan.
- Sprinkle with 1/2 of nut mixture.
- Spread evenly with remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining nut mixture.
- Bake 40 to 45 minutes until cake pulls away from side of pan.
- Cool cake in pan completely on wire rack.
