Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter, softened
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 c. mashed bananas
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Cream butter in large bowl, gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time; add vanilla.
- In another bowl sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream.
- Add bananas and nuts, mixing gently just until blended.
- Turn into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool thoroughly then frost with cream cheese frosting.
