Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cold Land O Lakes Butter, cut into chunks
- 1/2 cup Land O Lakes Half & Half
- 2 Land O Lakes Eggs, lightly beaten
- 3 ounces (3/4 cup) smoked Gouda cheese, shredded
Method
- Heat oven to 375F.
- Combine flour, baking powder and salt in bowl; cut in butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add half & half and eggs; stir just until moistened.
- Gently stir in cheese.
- Roll dough into 10-inch circle on lightly floured surface.
- Place onto greased baking sheet; cut into 8 wedges.
- Bake 18-20 minutes or until scones are golden brown.
- Serve warm.
