Ingredients

  • 1 c. plain flour
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. Cool Whip
  • 2 small boxes instant chocolate pudding
  • 3 1/4 c. milk
  • remaining Cool Whip (for top)

Method

  • Mix flour, margarine and chopped pecans together.
  • Press into 2-quart baking dish.
  • Bake for 5 minutes at 350° or until brown. Cool.
  • Mix the powdered sugar, cream cheese and 1 cup of Cool Whip together.
  • Spread over pastry.
  • Mix chocolate pudding with milk; spread over cream cheese layer.
  • Top with remaining Cool Whip; refrigerate.
