Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 whole onion
- 1 green pepper
- 1 can tomatoes (15 to 16 oz.)
- 3/4 c. catsup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 8 oz. macaroni shells
Method
- Saute onion and green pepper in 2 tablespoons oil; add meat and brown.
- Drain off oil and add salt and pepper, tomatoes and catsup. Simmer 15 minutes.
- Cook macaroni; add and stir to mix. Simmer until served.
- Serve with tossed salad and French bread. Serves 4 to 5.
