Ingredients

  • 2/3 pound rice noodles
  • 1 pound shrimps
  • cayenne pepper
  • dried parsley or Fresh
  • 2 cloves garlic finely hopped or pressed
  • sea salt
  • dried chilli optional - it will be hot
  • 1 lemon juice
  • white pepper
  • black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Method

  • A fast and delicious lunch or dinner you can have ready in no time. I advice you to pre-marinate your prawns for extra flavour but you can do so an hour ahead or in the morning. A very nice dish what will bring you with your mind straight to vacation seaside mode. You can enjoy it with a glass of white wine and a nice salad.
  • When it is time to prepare the food start first with your noodles. Boil them to all dente in salted water (cca 3-4 minutes). Meanwhile add your butter in a large pan on high/medium heat and fry quickly your prawns when the butter have melted. You do not want to overcook your prawns (1 minute with ready cooked prawns and 4 minutes for raw prawns).
  • Add your rice noodles with some of the starchy water (about 1/3 of a cup) and stir all well together. You can garnish with extra parsley, chilli or scallions. Enjoy.
