Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 14 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 12 teaspoons baking powder
  • 12 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 12 cups rice milk (or other dairy-free milk)
  • 2 tablespoons safflower oil
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

  • Mix dry ingredients in small bowl.
  • Whisk together wet ingredients in separate bowl.
  • Whisk wet ingredients into dry ingredients until combined (lumps are okay).
  • Pour batter onto preheated, nonstick pan until browned, then flip.
