Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- juice of 1 large lemon
- 1 small onion, grated
- 1 stalk celery, minced
- salt to taste
- 1 lb. cooked shrimp
- rounds of buttered bread
Method
- Mash cream cheese and add lemon juice, onion, celery and salt. Stir in shrimp which has been broken into tiny pieces or mashed well.
- Let stand at least 1 hour before spreading between buttered rounds.
- Yield: 25 servings.
