Ingredients

  • 1 can (6 oz) of albacore tuna in water, drained and flaked
  • 1 egg white or 2 tbsp liquid egg whites
  • 2 tbsp rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp diced onion
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp low-fat shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste (not included in nutritional info above)

Method

  • 1. Blend all ingredients, except the cheese, in a small bowl.
  • 2. Preheat a frying pan and lightly coat with a cooking spray.
  • 3. Form two patties from the tuna mixture and place them in the pan.
  • 4. Cook one side until brown and then turn.
  • 5. When the second side is nearly done, lightly sprinkle on the cheese.
