Ingredients
- 1 can (6 oz) of albacore tuna in water, drained and flaked
- 1 egg white or 2 tbsp liquid egg whites
- 2 tbsp rolled oats
- 2 tbsp diced onion
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp low-fat shredded cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste (not included in nutritional info above)
Method
- 1. Blend all ingredients, except the cheese, in a small bowl.
- 2. Preheat a frying pan and lightly coat with a cooking spray.
- 3. Form two patties from the tuna mixture and place them in the pan.
- 4. Cook one side until brown and then turn.
- 5. When the second side is nearly done, lightly sprinkle on the cheese.
