Ingredients
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. white sugar
- 3 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
- 1 1/4 c. Carnation milk
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. pecans
Method
- Mix brown sugar, granulated sugar, Karo syrup and milk in heavy saucepan.
- Cook to boiling point, stirring constantly.
- Cook until soft ball forms in cold water.
- Remove from heat.
- Cool at room temperature until lukewarm, without stirring.
- Add vanilla and pecans.
- Stir until candy holds shape.
- Drop onto waxed paper to form patties.
