Ingredients

  • vegetable oil
  • 4 pork chops
  • 3 c. soft bread cubes
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. melted margarine
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1 (10 1/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom or celery soup
  • 1/3 c. water

Method

  • Heat a small amount of oil in a skillet.
  • Add chops and cook until browned on both sides.
  • Place chops in a shallow baking dish.
  • Lightly mix together the next 5 ingredients.
  • Place a mound of stuffing mixture on each chop.
  • Stir together soup and water; pour over chops.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
  • Yield: 4 servings.
