Ingredients
- 2 1/3 c. Bisquick baking mix
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
- 1/2 c. milk
Method
- Heat oven to 425°.
- Mix all ingredients until soft dough forms.
- Gently smooth dough into ball on lightly floured cloth-covered board.
- Knead 8 to 10 times.
- Roll dough 1/2-inch thick.
- Cut with floured 3-inch cutter.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet until golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes.
- Makes 6 shortcakes.
