Ingredients
- 2 lb. stewing beef
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
- flour to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
- garlic powder to taste
- 1/2 c. dry white wine
- 1 medium onion, chopped
Method
- Dredge beef in seasoned flour and brown in oil.
- Mix soup, wine, onion and mushrooms in a casserole.
- Add browned beef. Cover with a tight fitting lid and bake at 300° for 3 to 4 hours. Serve over rice or noodles.
- Serves 4 to 6.
