Ingredients
- 1 pound Thick Spaghetti Noodles
- 1/2 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil
- 4 Tablespoons Honey
- 3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds
- 1 whole Green Onion, Chopped, For Garnish
Method
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook your thick spaghetti according to package instructions for al dente.
- Using thick spaghetti is the secret to giving it that true noodle feel.
- When the noodles are done, drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, heat your sesame oil and red pepper for 2 minutes.
- Pour the oil into a bowl through a fine mesh sieve to remove the red pepper from the oil.
- Set oil aside.
- In a bowl mix your honey, soy sauce, and sesame seeds.
- Add in your red pepper infused oil and stir to combine.
- You can add a drop of water if the sauce is too thick for you.
- In the same skillet you had the oil in, add in your cooked spaghetti noodles and pour the sauce on top.
- Toss and heat over medium heat for 3-4 minutes to heat through and add a little crispness to the noodles.
- Serve in a bowl garnished with green onions and enjoy!
