Ingredients

  • 1 pound Thick Spaghetti Noodles
  • 1/2 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil
  • 4 Tablespoons Honey
  • 3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 1 whole Green Onion, Chopped, For Garnish

Method

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook your thick spaghetti according to package instructions for al dente.
  • Using thick spaghetti is the secret to giving it that true noodle feel.
  • When the noodles are done, drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, heat your sesame oil and red pepper for 2 minutes.
  • Pour the oil into a bowl through a fine mesh sieve to remove the red pepper from the oil.
  • Set oil aside.
  • In a bowl mix your honey, soy sauce, and sesame seeds.
  • Add in your red pepper infused oil and stir to combine.
  • You can add a drop of water if the sauce is too thick for you.
  • In the same skillet you had the oil in, add in your cooked spaghetti noodles and pour the sauce on top.
  • Toss and heat over medium heat for 3-4 minutes to heat through and add a little crispness to the noodles.
  • Serve in a bowl garnished with green onions and enjoy!
