Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast halves, boneless, skinless 2 large ones
  • 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
  • 1 cup celery sliced
  • 1 small onions thinly sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil finely crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon chervil crushed
  • 18 teaspoon thyme crushed
  • 1/4 cup white wine dry or sherry
  • 8 ounces cream cheese cubed
  • 13 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 cups noodles three color spirals, or any pasta

Method

  • Cut chicken into strips.
  • Melt margarine in a large skillet, and add chicken, vegetables, and seasonings.
  • Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes until chicken is tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of wine and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Combine cream cheese, milk, and remaining wine in a saucepan stirring over low heat until smooth, add to the chicken and vegetables, and serve over noodles.
