- 1 pound chicken breast halves, boneless, skinless 2 large ones
- 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
- 1 cup celery sliced
- 1 small onions thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon basil finely crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon chervil crushed
- 18 teaspoon thyme crushed
- 1/4 cup white wine dry or sherry
- 8 ounces cream cheese cubed
- 13 cup milk
- 2 1/2 cups noodles three color spirals, or any pasta
Method
- Cut chicken into strips.
- Melt margarine in a large skillet, and add chicken, vegetables, and seasonings.
- Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes until chicken is tender, stirring occasionally.
- Add 2 tablespoons of wine and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Combine cream cheese, milk, and remaining wine in a saucepan stirring over low heat until smooth, add to the chicken and vegetables, and serve over noodles.
