Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 onion, halved and sliced
  • 1 red pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1 yellow pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons small capers, rinsed
  • 12 cup white wine
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 14 ounces tiny new potatoes, halved
  • 10 ounces raw shrimp
  • 14 ounces white fish fillets, cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon basil, shredded

Method

  • Fry the garlic, onion and peppers in a little oil until completely softened.
  • Stir in the capers then add the wine, broth and potatoes and simmer until the potatoes are tender.
  • Add the shrimp and fish and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Stir through the basil and serve in bowls with crusty bread.
