Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Method

  • Cream butter and
  • crunchy
  • peanut butter; gradually add sugar, beating at medium
  • speed
  • of
  • an
  • electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in
  • flour,
  • blending
  • well.
  • Stir
  • in vanilla, chocolate morsels and
  • chopped
  • pecans.
  • Spoon
  • batter
  • into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  • Bake
  • at 350° for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Cool.
  • Cut
  • into 2 x 1 1/2-inch bars. Yields 3 dozen.
